Schulz Sheep Farm Featured in WWSDA Newsletter!

"Seth and Abigail Schulz own a small commercial flock operation, Schulz Sheep Farm, near Wausau, WI where they specialize in market lambs. Seth and Abigail's interest in sheep started in 4-H with Suffolk show lambs. After college they decided to start a small flock of commercial Ewes moving away from Suffolk towards PolyPay, Texel, and other commercial breeds.

Seth has a special interest in creating the perfect crossbred flock that incorporates Ewes with top maternal traits such as lambing ease and mothering and Rams that produce exceptional carcass traits for pasture Raise lambs!

New to sheep herding they bought their first puppy Bindi, a collie x boarder collie, as a hobby. Now with the help and lessons from Samantha Jones, Bindi has become a valuable asset to the farm helping with our operations! Through the lessons Abigail has found a special interest in herding and plans to continue training and lessons and work towards herding trials!"
